Crafted with Passion, Inspired by Nature

Jo Hill crafts her magic from a picturesque garden studio nestled amidst the captivating countryside near Bath. Her creative journey began in Staffordshire, where the melody of birds and the allure of nature stirred her artistic soul. From a tender age, creativity ran in her veins, nurtured by her mother and grandmother, who always championed crafts. Yet, it was the world of textiles that truly captivated Jo's heart. This passion led her to an art foundation, culminating in a degree in textile floor coverings from Kidderminster College, an affiliate of Wolverhampton Polytechnic.

Motherhood brought two blessings into her life, but her zeal for learning never waned. She went on to attain City & Guilds qualifications from Stafford College, mastering the arts of machine embroidery, appliqué, fabric dyeing, felt making, paper crafting, soft furnishings, printing, and interior design.

Further enhancing her repertoire, Jo acquired a teaching qualification, blessing Stafford College with a decade of her expertise.

Jo's forte, free motion embroidery, complements her artistic flair. This technique, with its immediate visual rewards, aligns beautifully with her creative prowess, allowing observers to witness the artwork evolve stitch by stitch.

We are thrilled to announce that Jo will be showcasing a wide variety of her textile creations. She will also be available to discuss her work, offer advice, and provide inspiration to all who attend. Don’t miss this opportunity to see her amazing work and learn from her expertise!
