In this class, you’ll master the art of sewing with eco-laminated fabric and installing zippers as you craft your very own make-up bag. Say goodbye to off-the-shelf and hello to DIY chic.

Class Detail:
This 10-inch make-up bag with eco-laminated fabric class uses one of Sewing-Sanctuary’s patterns for the experienced. This class introduces you to how laminated fabric can be used to complete the bag and deliver a perfect gift for you or one of your loved ones. Sarah will explain the difference between oil cloth and laminated fabric and how to use a sewing machine as well as different notions.
During this class, you will learn the following techniques:
How to use a pattern
How to fit zips
How to use laminated fabric
Basic sewing
Learning how to combine laminated and cotton fabrics together
How to fit a charm on a headless zip
Materials:
Fat quarter laminated fabric
Colour coordinated sewing thread
Ribbon – Half metre decorative
