Join members of the Somerset W.I. for a fun and creative workshop where you'll learn to make a charming and practical Colourful Coin Purse. This class is perfect for crafters of all skill levels, offering a wonderful opportunity to learn new techniques and create something beautiful and useful. Our experienced instructors from the WI in Somerset will guide you through each step, ensuring you leave with a delightful purse.

Workshop Description:

In this engaging and hands-on class, you will:

  • Fabric Selection: Choose from two contrasting fabrics (fabric colours may vary) to create a visually appealing purse.

  • Sewing and Turning Out: Learn the essential sewing techniques to stitch your fabrics together and turn them out neatly.

  • Adding Fastener: Attach a cute fastener to secure your purse, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

  • Stitching Double-Ended: Complete the purse with double-ended stitching, making it perfect for holding coins, jewelry, or small travel essentials.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a vibrant and handy coin purse that reflects your personal style and creativity.
