We are delighted to see the return of Glass Garden Studio to the show. Tracey Quinn, its owner has been running extremely popular workshops at the show for quite a few years. Her classes always attract loads of crafters, many returning to learn and experience how much fun you can have with glass crafting.
Tracey a few years ago made a life-changing decision after being made redundant for the 3rd time, “I decided that it was now or never to take a leap of faith and start my own business doing the thing that I love - Crafting!’ she says “Now I work full time from my studio at home creating glass designs”. Tracey’s passion and love are shown in her designs and she is able to give people the chance to make the same style designs that she has created in an easy way.
‘A pre-cut glass pack with an end design in mind is what I would have loved to be able to buy and make when I first started working with glass. There was nothing like these packs so I decided that is where I can share my love of glass at an affordable price. This craft can easily be done at home and is something really special when making it as a gift.’
This year Tracey is bringing a new workshop ‘Hedgehog Hetty’. You will be guided through each step to create the new design and learn how to clean, foil and solder in a simple “Tiffany” method to construct your design to take home. Simply book a space then choose out of 10 options what you wish to make on the day. For more information on Tracey’s workshops please visit the workshop section of our website.
