Get creative with Furzie and needle-felt a hare, dog or cat head on a hat or lapel pin. This 60-90 minute workshop will teach you the basics of needle felting, and give you a chance to express yourself with wool. Suitable for absolute beginners, adults and children over 12 years. Drop-in Sculpture Casting Workshops

Visit Melanie and learn about using high quality Crystacal plaster to cast natural shapes such as fossils, leaves, bark and other textures from silicone moulds, these can then be coloured using plaster pigments and metallic ﬁnishes. These shapes can be used as wall or window hangings, mounted in picture frames, in mobiles or even as jewellery.
No experience needed, all tools and materials supplied. Allow around 45 minutes. Either book in advance or drop in on the day to and have a go. £5 per casting.

Paint Pouring Workshop - Paint Pouring with Sarah

Price to attend: £10 for one tile or £15 for two
In this fantastic workshop, run by the lovely Sarah Kennard, you will work with water-based acrylic paint and other materials to create a unique piece of work on a tile or two if you wish!
You do not need any experience (or artisitic ability!) to take part in this workshop so come and have a go at a new skill.

Screen Printed Fabric and Framing with Dinky Screens

Parchment Craft Taster Session

The Association of Parchment Craft will be running taster sessions for you to have a go at this lovely craft.
The session will give you the opportunity to try some of the tools and techniques used in parchment craft.
You will have the opportunity to make either a mouse, penguin or a snowman and each class will take around 30 to 45 minutes.
Experimental Wet Felting Workshop (Child Friendly)

In this lovely workshop run by Tracey Bartlett, you will learn the traditional skill of wet felting. You will be shown how to handle and lay out the wool fibres as well how to embellish your work with wool curls. The final product will be a small piece of experimental flat felt to be use to cover a note book. This can then be embellished further at home with beads, sequins or buttons.
Don't worry if you have never done wet felting before, this class is suitable for beginners so come and have a go! The workshop is also suitable for children, an adult should also be present to supervise but they do not need to participate.

Wirework Ring making - Holly Berkley Jewellery

In workshop you can make a choice of up to 4 ring designs; 1. Adjustable spiral rings. 2. Bead rings. 3. Button rings. 4. Spiral rings. You will learn how to measure and resize a ring, use a ring triblet and form these attractive rings.
No previous experience is required to take part in this workshop. All tools and equipment will be supplied at no extra cost. Book early to avoid disappointment as only 12 people can partake in this workshop at a time.

Workshop Room 1 - Glass Garden Studio
The Glass Garden Studio is holding Stained Glass Copper Foiling workshops at the show - no experience necessary, just a willingness to try something a little bit special with beautiful glass. Lots of designs to choose from and we will guide you every step of the way!
The workshop will be running every day of the show at the following time;
10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 & 3:30. The cost is £17 and there will be 12 places available, Each workshop will last for around 1 hour.
