Stumpwork Raspberry - Stumpwork, or raised embroidery, lifts the simple embroidery stitches into three dimensions. Stumpwork was at its height during the 17th Century, but now we can bring it into the modern world. This little raspberry design teaches the fundamentals of padded shapes and cute little 'picots' for leaves. The finished design works perfectly added to a picture or creates a charming brooch.
