Make a Poppy for our fallen heroes.
This year we are encouraging as many Crafters as possible to get involved with the Devon County Shows Poppy appeal.
The society are looking to create a beautiful and inspiring 11,000 handmade Poppy display in their Craft & Garden Marquee at the Devon County show this May. They are looking for willing crafters to help meet this challenge and so to help this, Craft4Crafters have teamed up with a collection of designers, guilds and groups who will be all be on hand at the show to help anyone interested in making a poppy, you will be able to either make something on the day you visit or take away a design to create at home.

Devon County Show Remembers
As the Centenary of the end of the First World war approaches, the craft and Gardens feature at the Devon County Show is creating a carpet of handmade poppies as a tribute to the 11000+ Devon men and women who lost their lives in the First World War.
The handmade crafted poppies can be knitted, crocheted, made from lace, felt – anything other than paper. Anyone can contribute a poppy and they should be sent to:
Devon County Show Office
Clyst St Mary
Your poppy will be stored prior to being planted in the Craft and Garden marquee in May 2017. You can download below a submission form, please include your name and address and any dedication that you would like to appear in our dedication book which will go alongside the display.
